They married 19 May 1897 in the (now) United Church at Brigden, Ontario. Guy was listed as a farmer and a Baptist on the wedding documents. Also noted were the witnesses, Bertha's brother David Frederick was the only family member.

They had 2 children; Verne and Lillian.

Lillian was born 1 January 1902 at Davidson (?) And died 11 days later on 11 January 1902. She was buried in the _________________ cemetery at ____________________ (city)

Bertha died 6 January 1902 after giving birth to Lillian. and was buried in the ________________ cemetery at ________________________, Michigan.

Guy died from _______________ (cause) on ________ (date) and was buried in the ________________ cemetery at ___________________________________. (city)
