George, son of Mariah Parr and Robert Tunks, was born 18 December 1856 at Mosa Township, Middlesex County, Ontario.

Catherine, daughter of Robert Brodie and Flora ____________ (mother) was born 1 February 1857 at ____________. (city)

They married ________________ (date) in _______________________ (church?) at ________________________ (city).

They had 4 children; Christina, John, George Gordon and Teenie.

The 1901 census found the family at lot 5 concession 6 of Aldborough Township, Elgin County living in a 6 room house on 50 acres. This is where a daughter Christina was found; there has yet been nothing further on her to add. Also, this census has been the only mention of George G. Tunks. All as yet known references have only indicated Gordon. Since the same birth year has been found for George G. and Gordon, it appears that they were the same person.

Also of note from the census is a neighbour of George and Catherine. Alex Brodie, wife Caroline and Alex's mother Christina.

Kate died from _____________ (cause) on ___________ 1923 and was buried in the _________________ Cemetery at _________________________.  (city)     George died from ________________ (cause) on ___________ 1934 and was buried in the Cemetery at Rodney, Ontario.
