Temporary Unknowns

Below is a listing of my current "brick walls" with the family research. If you have further information on any family (families) listed, I'd be more than delighted to hear from you. See the bottom of this page for ways to contact me. I thank you for your assistance with this research.

Beveridge, Robert     Mary Ellen Parr born 1836 Ontario, Canada, married Robert 22 March 1854 in Ontario. Known children were Hannah and Margaret and a male child which died during the 1861 Ontario census year. Mary Ellen died 1868 and was buried at Wardsville, Ontario. What happened to Robert?
Cherry, Joseph   Joseph Cherry was said to have been a light weight boxer at one time. He married Mary Tunks, daughter of Robert Tunks and Thirsa Hewitt. Mary was born in 1882. My understanding is that Mary and Joseph didn't have children. They lived in Kent County, Ontario in the late 1800's, then moved at some point to (Saginaw?) Michigan. Looking for information on Joseph's parents, and info on Mary and Joseph.
Cucksey, Martha Jane  Frank Gonyou married Martha Jane Cucksey and had 8 kids; Frances, Prosper Henry, Laura, Kenneth, Ila, Lloyd,  Irva and Monica. Martha was born around Woodstock, Ontario and supposedly this family wound up in Grey County, Ontario.
Dark, Wellington   Wellington married Myrtle Irene, daughter of Charles Tunks and Mary Jane Banks. Both Wellington and Mrytle were born in 1896. They had one son Charles Thomas Dark. Mrytle died in 1924 and Wellington remarried to one Phyllis (?).
Drennan, Thomas Jane Parr (b1870 in Ontario) married Thomas Drennan (b1868 in Ireland) Thomas immigrated to Canada 1885. There were four known children, Leo, Thomas, Lottie, Della. Jane was buried at Oil Springs, Ontario. Della married Thomas Stinson and apparently died in a car accident in Detroit. Lottie married Earl Powers.

Harris, John Mae Parr who married John Harris (c1890).
Hecht, Walter Ida was the daughter of William Frederick Parr and Sarah E Bacon. The parents lived in Ontario till about 1907 when they moved to Michigan. I've been told there were 2 children, Joanne and Dwight. Looking for the descendants of Walter and Ida Hecht.
Lester, Charles Six children Lena (m Charles Taylor), Rosena (m Charles Bidner), Lavina (m Wesly Stevens), Frederick (m?), Albert (m?), Leeland (m?) Charles and Emma were buried at Brigden, Ontario, but what happened to their children?
Little, David David Little, son of Ebenezer and E. Little, was born 1842 somewhere in Ontario. Catherine Tunks, daughter of Mariah Parr and Robert Tunks, had 15 children Sanford, Edgar, Oscar, Maude, Ann, Clara, Charles, Fred, James, Robert, Ada, Emma, George, Franklin, Mary. Catherine was buried at Bothwell, Ontario Canada; she died 12 August 1911. David died 23 Nov 1928 and was buried in the next township over, Mosa Township, Middlesex County, Ontario.
Mitchell, James Elizabeth, daughter of Robert Tunks and Thirsa Hewitt, was born in 1878 and maried James Mitchell. They had 10 children; Aaron, Olive, Mary Ellen, Robert, Dorothy, Elizabeth, James, and Catherine. There were twins born John and ? Looking for the descendants of James and Elizabeth Mitchell.
Morningstar, Leslie Leslie, son of Michael Morningstar and Mary Ann Zimmerman, born 1868 in Ontario. Married Ida Mary Parr. They had 6 children, Ross (m Gertrude Dykeman), Maude (m Samuel Norton), Della (m Walter Galloway), Herman (m?), Herbert Tony (m Lorna Lewis), Frederick (m Beulah ?).
Parr, Addie Daniel Turrill married Adeline Parr and had 6 children. David Elroy, Anthony, Thomas Sylvester, Hubert, Jane Anne and Austin. Addie was the daughter of David Parr and Jane Duke Johnson. Looking for the descendants of Daniel and Addi Parr.
Parr, Bertha  Married Guy Tenney and had two children Verne and Lillian. They lived in Michigan.
Parr, Jane SeeThomas Drennan.
Parr, Mae See John Harris.
Parr, Harriett Harriett married Jerome Toles and had 9 children Hannah, William (m Eliza Parr), Mary, Ellen, Jerome, Lucy, George, Frederick, Nancy. Jerome, it's said, died at Carsonville, MI. He was born 7 August 1832 (?). Harriett, it's said, died at Oklahoma. Looking for more info on Harriett.
Parr, Helen    Helen Parr, daughter of Frederick Parr and Lenna Taylor, married Carrell Sherman. Since Helen's family seems to have found their way around New Baltimore, Michigan, I'm assuming (yiks!) that she was there as well. Looking for information on this family and descendants.

Parr, Lucy  Nothing is known about Lucy beyond her birth date of 15 May 1819.
Parr, George George had his picture taken at Cedar Rapids, Iowa at age 85 and it's known that he was born at Water Beach, Cambridgeshire on 4 January 1824.
Parr, Mary Ellen Mary Ellen was born in 1836 and married Robert Beveridge in 1854. She died at the age of 32 and was buried at Wardsville. Ontario
Parr, Thelma   Thelma, daughter of Frederick Parr and Lenna Taylor, married Carroll Read - parents unknown. I'm looking for information on this couple and any descendants.

Sherman, Carrell  See Helen Parr.
Stocking, Charles Charles, son of John Stocking and Frances (?), was born 1876 in Mosa Township, Middlesex County, Ontario. Charles and Annabel Tunks had 5 children; Mildred, Gertrude, Charles, Blanche & Wilbert. Charles and Annabel were both buried at Bothwell, Ontario.

Tunks, Hannah Hannah and Robert Whiting had 9 children, Rosa, William, George, Robert, Charles Wesley, Clara, Julia, Sadie, and Marie Jane. Hannah was buried in Lambton county, Ontario in November 1893, but what happened to the rest of the family?
